Vehicle upgrades
Bought at the garage. The Mega Vacuum Rover’s Suction Control widens the cleaning strip but slows you down; cruise control is also an upgrade. One Steam guide lists the order Tuned Engine → Large Bunker (bigger hopper) → Suction Control → Turbo Kit → Quick Emptying ⚠️ — names may differ slightly in English. One player reports a fully upgraded Rover hopper at 5,700 kg ⚠️. Upgrade prices aren’t published yet.
Unloading and controls
- Emptying a vehicle: drive it to a collector pad / silo, which unloads into storage and sends capsules out on a conveyor — it needs a working belt out, or it fills up ⚠️. One guide says you can also empty at the garage chute ⚠️.
- Mega Vacuum Rover keys (one guide ⚠️): mouse wheel = suction, Shift = boost, L = lights, F = get in / out.
- Vehicles count for the achievement Finally, Wheels — clean while driving for the first time (achievements).
Is it worth buying vehicles?
Yes, as the step between hand tools and automation: a $2,500 Lunar Sweeper clears a 2.8 m strip versus about 1 m for the best broom. Once money is flowing, the late game moves to J.O.O.N.A.S. robots, which clean without you.
